Very interesting.
Hypertonic solutions - as in greater than 0.9 % salt (sodium chloride) equivalent - tend to draw out water from the body.
hence making it lighter.
Unless your shower water was hypertonic due to the minerals it contains, I wonder what would be the explanation to it.
