I think it displaces but not chelates, and to a much lesser degree for heavy metals. It is mostly for displacing halogens (flouride is the main offender).

I would really like for more people to try the Iodine along with the chelators. I think the Iodine snipes the candida, and the candida flaring up is what is making so many feel like crap on rounds.
