i want to thank you again~
i am very lucky (thank God), that i didnt do permanent damage to my hearing with the experimental mixture, and it has really taught me a lesson to not experiment, regarding my ears, because i could do damage that i'm not able to take back...
i did find from the original first two days' experimentation (NO further experimenting!), that the d-limonene (by itself), helps with the ear canal itching (fungal-type) i've had for years--
and i've tried so many things to stop the vicious cycle (itch, rubbing my ear canal raw with cotton swabs, & then it'd start healing and itch all over again!), and everything i tried made my ear feel not right ...the d-limonene (emptied out in a few seconds), gave me two days of blissful itch-free ears (!),
AND it did what i've so needed other things to do: kept my ear canal moist but balanced while healing so that it didnt start the itch cycle again!
...i now clean my all around & behind my ear with witch hazel pads, put a little d-limonene (from softgels i get from swansonvitaminsdotcom) in my ear - and on my fingertip i dab a bit of d-limonene and i massage it all over and behind my ear and it makes my skin so balanced, it's just GREAT!
and for my mouth, i've settled on a routine that, for now, seems to be keeping the infection back, and in connection the ear infection's gone down:
in the morning, before i eat anything, i swish, gently (otherwise, it can loosen dental fillings ...i've had this happen to me, from more of my experimenting!), with a teaspoon of coconut oil, for 12-20 minutes,
then i measure a teaspoon of xylitol powder and, i moisten my toothbrush and dip it into that and brush my teeth with it,
and the remaining xylitol powder i take (w/ optional a bit of coconut oil, and it's yummy and hopefully good for me!),
mid-day i take another teaspoon xylitol powder (w/ optional bit of coconut oil),
and lastly before bed i measure another teaspoon of xylitol, dip my moist toothbrush in it and brush my teeth, and take the rest of the xylitol powder (w/ optional bit of coconut oil)
i hope this info helps someone, as DQuixote & so many other members here at CZ have helped me!
blessings to all :)
