I was reading quite a bit tonight. It got me thinking about my thyroid again.

If the body first eliminates, then is there any healing with my thyroid? It is likely going to take at least 30 days to get most of the toxins eliminated. It may take longer.

How do I talk to my endocrinologist about my wanting to fast to heal my thyroid? Is it even logical?

I really believe my thyroid disease is the cause of toxins. I know elimninating the toxins is a first step. How long can my body go with a low function thyroid, can a bad TSH value cause even more damage to my system.

I definitely know I am going to have to do another extended fast after this one. The way the rash is spreading ... I am becoming more set on going at least 30 days because clearly I am very toxic.

Any advice?
