Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone could comment on the effects of being sick (e.g., bad cold) on EC. I have been making steady progress in my EC condition by avoiding all ointments, following a healthy preservative free diet, and regular exercise. Unfortunately during the past week I came down with a bad cold that included a 102 temp for 2 days. The medicine I took was a over the counter decongestant and one dose of aspirin. My lips have worsened since the cold began(now nearly one week into it). I am wondering if this is due to my immune system needing to work harder on the cold and if so, can I expect to get back on track with my healing once the cold is gone (it is already much better). Does anyone have any thoughts or experience?
