It WAS such a gift and changed me in ways I'm still trying to come to terms with. Yes, I do know that she was aware...it was so evident, such an obvious act to take my hand the way she did.

We took a rose from her coffin and would you believe it, it's still perfect...16 days later. My niece showed me hers today and it's like a normal dying rose. But mine is standing tall...dried but perfectly shaped & no petals have fallen... I'll take it as a hello from heaven.

Daddy's death sort of tore the family apart somewhat...momma's passing had the opposite effect.
We will continue to work on the broken pieces.
