My History:
1 year of figuring out pain and weird reaction to sugar. After candida diagnosis, went on high protein and salad diet which completely failed. Last november i researched the fat and candida connection and that has allowed me to get back to work and function. I figured out that the red meat and nuts were causing flareups just as bad as sugar. When It spread to my groin I had a clear representation of the effects of fatty foods. When I ate fat, it flared up. When I went low fat it went away.

Now a month ago I went vegan and am feeling great. All of the nutrients that I thought I was getting from meat wasn't digesting anyway. I had low protein levels despite eating steak every day.

My diet is a lot of green vegetables and avoiding hunger with potatoes, rice, quinoa, or yucca root. When I went on just broccoli and spinach, I get candida leaving the body in the bathroom and a clearer head. These are the perfect foods.

So do some research on:
Candida Liver
Fat and Candida
Alkalizing Foods and Candida.

Please read through my threads over the past week. There's lots of people against what worked for me, but plenty that have had success.

I can tell you for a fact that if you eliminated all that fat you will get more control. It's an odd diet because I try to get as much nutrition as possible from spinach and broccoli, when for normal people the biggest part of the meal is carb and meats.
