First I though that the explanation as to why Beck wrote 100 microampere instead of the 3-6 milliampere was that he first mistakenly thought that the resistance of the skin would make no difference and than changes his mind after discovering that it does indeed make a difference. However in his original work “Take Back Your Power” page 8, 13, and 35 (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDYQFjAA&... he does state that several milliamperes are necessary for the getting the right amount in the blood. Thus he seemed aware of it from the start. The Sota company which was the only company that Beck endorsed also has several milliampere in their blood electrifier.
I think the best explanation is that Beck just wanted to show the currency in the blood in the diagram, or that he made an error and forgot about the skin resistance when he wrote that.
When it comes to the fact that several people get really good results using it, I think the answer lies in the power of placebo, or that even a very weak current may have a certain effect as well.
It is very kind of you that you want to help me build one. Will it generate a 3.9 Hz biphasic sharp-rise-time square wave, +/- 30 volt peak adjustable output, 50% duty cycle, capable of delivering several milliamperes into a low resistance load at skin surface (+/- 2000 ohm impedance) ?
I do want to do this. But how is it to happen, do you mean that you give me the instructions and I build it?
