I hope you can help me understand....is failure to complete a fast a sin? How can even giving just a minute of your time to fast be a failure?

If you were to count the minutes that you were actually focused on God....not the fast.....how many are there? Is that more than you would have done if you were not fasting?

God knows our hearts and our needs, but He still wants to hear from us. The Joy is to be present in His Presence.

By not eating or having to prepare foods, one could be Mary and not Martha and spend more quality time with our heavenly Father.
