Female sterilisation is done by blocking the fallopian tube, thus, not allowing the sperm to reach the egg, preventing fertilization of the egg and thereby stopping pregnancy. During the surgery you will be sedated with a local or general anesthesia. The procedure does not hinder the functioning of the ovaries in anyway and it also does not cause early menopause. One of the best advantages of this procedure is that it is known to increase sexua| activity in woman since there is no longer the fear of pregnancy.

This operation is only recommended for those women who have already had children and no longer want to have anymore in the future. It is also undertaken by women who have health issues that can make pregnancy a really risky affair, or by those who have genetic disorders. If you think that there are side effects that come along with the procedure you are mistaken. It does not affect a woman’s health in any kind of manner and post surgery care is also very little.
