It's trimming cartilage that got me handicapped for more than 10 yrs now. I was initially told only a loose cartilage piece is going to be removed. Next thing I now, i wake up with an aquarium instead of a my nicely looking knee and on inquiry I was been reluctantly told that they "shaved" the cartilage surface my knee cup. Couldn't walk properly for 2 yrs; still cannot run or squat!!!
I wonder -- how do you Surgeons have the courage to perform non-life saving manipulations w.o. consent ?!?!

Ppl, go alternative up until you have no other options left!
