The reasons why some people are on candida diets for years is because they have something seriously wrong with their immune system. OR they are super emotional and in denial someway about foods and their reactions. You need to be adept and change it up every few days to figure out the right plan. You can tell people don't know what they are talking about when they talk about 6 weeks of coconut oil and all this junk and endless months of high protein dieting. It goes on forever.

What's the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Beating candida is a 2 week thing because the immune system manages levels on a daily basis.
