Thank you Marci!  I've been looking up the blue green stains and it seems copper is a known cause of this in water.  I've been seeing these blue green stains in my sinks and tubs for years now and never thought much of it.  I feel better since taking a 23mg zinc lozenge yesterday and I took another one today.  Excess copper causes a zinc deficiency.

Do you take zinc?
