I have struggled with candida for 15 years. All due to massive over prescription of Antibiotics by my doctor in 1995. Seen many doctors since then. Did you know that all of the anti-fungals except for voriconazole are just yeast inhibitors? Meaning they do not kill candida! They just keep the growth down. That is why no one can get rid of it. It keeps growing back.

However, Voriconazole which is in the fluconazole family KILLS CANDIDA. It is a fungicidal. I know, I took it for 2 - 3 weeks and ALL of my symptoms went away. Completely. I felt the best I have ever felt in the lat 15 years since this started. Unfortunately I had the severe side effects from the voriconazole where you get starbursts in your vision, which they say could be tolerated, but could result in eye damage, so I had to come off of the voriconazole before I had completely eradicated the candida. So I still have it.

I urge you to check with your doctor and see if you can get a prescription for the voriconazole and see if you can be cured. I am not sure what to do next. I guess I will keep hoping and searching for answers.
