I am finding the post NAET treatment 25 hour time segments to be rather humorous.

Apparently I can go without just about anything for a short period of time. Since I am going only weekly for treatments, it is only one day per week.

My schedule is rather hectic, so I look for the common denominator between the lists of the two things I have been treated for. Often that has turned out to be something like unfortified white rice and water! LOL. I went one entire day on nothing but orange juice. I don't recommend that. I do love oj though, so had fun with the idea of not limiting myself as I usually do. The aftermath, though, was a bit uncomfortable. There was more I could have had, but was being lazy. Then there was the day that the easiest thing on the list was french fries (on the list because they were cooked at so high a heat they were devoid of vitamins). If I never see another french fry again it will be too soon! I thought I liked them until I tried eating them by themselves as a meal.

Clearly I could be more creative with post treatment foods. Using the guide makes it easier because I can look in advance and depending upon the treatment, have some idea of what to have on hand.

I see posts with lots of comments about what to eat post treatment. I just find the one food or two most easy to obtain and go with it.

Excessive worry about what to eat, to me, is a waste of effort. It is only for 25 hours, and I am going to sleep through some of those ;-) I eat a good meal before I go for treatment, and then I don't worry so much about what I am going to avoid afterward.

The only thing I am concerned with is being sure I carefully avoid what I am supposed to avoid. I am not trying to see how creative I can be, how many of my favorite things I can still eat, etc. My focus is on staying clear of the substance(s) I need to avoid. Instead of feeling deprived, I am usually excited that this is the final step in eliminating an allergy. Very very very small trade off if you ask me.

For those who are considering the treatments, I encourage you to go for it. I am just at the beginning - in working through the basic 10 - and already am seeing good results.
