Hi. I'm not sure if this will be helpful, but I was getting terrible weird feelings in the area of my heart. It felt like it was twitching, aching and I could feel my heartbeat all the time. At one point I went into the emergency room because I thought I had a heart problem. It turns out it was terrible heartburn and gas that, for some reason, hurt me right in that area. I didn't have any other symptoms besides feeling like my food was not digesting well, but I didn't feel like I had typical 'heartburn' feelings. However, I started taking stomach medicine and a couple of teaspoons of vinegar per day and it really got better.

It was my mother who suggested it first. I thought, 'no way this feeling is heartburn.' But I was wrong, and it started feeling better. Just a thought!
