Get yourself an eyecup (available at most pharmacies) and use colloidal silver to wash your eyes several times a day. Basically, you just put colloidal silver in the cup, lean over and get a good seal around the eye and then lean back and open your eye and give the colloidal silver a minute or two to its thing. No need to rinse afterwards with water. In lieu of an eyecup, you could use an eyedropper to rinse the eye with colloidal silver.
Your red eye, mucous and pain should be gone in only a day or so. It has never failed me or anyone I know who had problems with pink or red eyes or eye infections - and I note that there have been several testimonials about colloidal silver and eye problems here at CZ.
You can also take colloidal sivler internally to help assist in getting rid of any infection - and the suggestion to use oil of oregano internally is also a very good one. Olive leaf extract taken internally is yet another good natural pathogen destroyer.
BTW, eyecups are also good for rinsing the eyes with distilled water as well as for using the herbal combo called Eyebright, which can be applied to the eye as well as taken internally (start with only a drop or so, as you will have to get used to the cayenne part of the formula burning a bit at first). I prefer the Dr, Schulze product over the Dr. Christopher one - and when I apply eyebright I also add colloidal silver.
