A friend of mine with a 2 month old baby is struggling with a dwindling milk supply. The mother has had Antibiotics regularly over the last 4-5 months for respiratory infections and then (mostly recently) a UTI and mastitis. She just had an allergic reaction to the most recent antibiotic, and I'm worried about her. Are the Adrenal Tonic herbs safe for a nursing mother? I think she needs to rebuild her immune system. Are the Big 3 (pau d'arco, andographis, and chaparral) okay with nursing? Any suggestions to increase milk supply?

I've been searching past posts for answers and will continue to do so.
