"Worshipping during this song, I was feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit and Joy. The next day i was playing something on guitar in a new and different way and felt the same thing. Each time i played this one song in particular the Holy Spirit would bubble up within me and He would bring the Joy. Then I woke up this morning to a worship song "You won't relent", Jesus Culture:"

What an awesome testimony! The Lord is truly blessing you with His joy. You must be feeling a little bit of heaven on earth right now. Nothing in this world can compare with being filled with the joy of the Lord and being in His mighty presence. Oh, how I wished all the depressed people of this world could discover this. They could throw out all of their anxiety pills. They could put big pharma out of business. All the problems of this world grow so strangely dim in the presence and the joy of the Lord. I am excited for you, Ed, as you continue to pursue the Lord and get deeper and deeper into the things of Him. Your future is very bright indeed.

I took the liberty to post the songs that blessed you so much on the front page of the forum so we could all enjoy them and worship with you. I didn't want to beat you to the punch, but I didn't see you doing it either. ;)

Thanks for fasting with me. It is helpful to have company. Thanks for praying for me. I am praying for you too. I am filled with excitement when I think about what He is doing in our lives as we truly seek Him. Jesus gives Himself freely to anyone who will truly seek Him. That means me too! How can I not get excited at that thought?

I loved your quote:

“Fasting begets prophets and strengthens strong men. Fasting makes lawgivers wise; it is the soul’s safeguard, the body’s trusted comrade, the armor of the champion, the training of the athlete.”

— Basil, Bishop of Caesarea (AD 330–379)
