Hi Chrisb1,

Thanks for the reply. I always value your insight into these matters and completely understand your point about the pointlessness of "being too defensive about my own experiences with diet, as this can be enervating and wasteful of life-energy with the opinion-friction that ensues."

I try to stay in the mindset of passing on information that may be useful to people as opposed to that of thinking "my way is best!" Likewise, I want to hear the life experiences of others that give us a clearer idea of what works and what doesn't.
