heyy,
I am sorry you are having such a scary time. You must be scared. But I have had some experience with hyperventilation itself causing me to feel faint. It seems that anxiety causes me to hyperventilate and then I get various symptoms including more hyperventilation from the anxiety. A couple of times during a period ending around 5 years ago I hyperventilated myself into a "carpal-pedal attack," in which my hands and arms went tingly and numb and curled up involuntarily, same with my feet and legs. I was so scared. I couldn't move. I dialed an ambulance and went to the ER, but this was unnecessary: they said this seemed dramatic but was not dangerous and it always went away by itself. Indeed, as soon as i got to the hospital (calming down as I did so) the symptoms subsided.
I know this does not totally reflect your situation but it does sound to me like you are hyperventilating.
If you want to know a calming breath exercise, try left-nostril breathing. Just block your right nostril with right thumb, ring finger, or little finger. It does work to calm me down and reduce any hyperventilation I might be doing (mostly I am unaware when I am hyperventilating). Best wishes. Congrats on day 4
