I asked my doc (who I see for thyroid meds -- desiccated thyroid) about lithium orotate and he didn't see any problem with it, since it's such a low dose. He said he takes it as a hair mineral test said he was low in it.

I tried it for a while to see if it would help with insomnia. It didn't seem to.
