Replacing blood with 50% KI isn't feasable, but a Becks machine will do what this can do to all blood in ~20 minutes.

The problem is that unless you just got your first infection you can no longer assume that the spirochetes are in blood circulation.

Worse for things like Borrelia.garinii which don't even require an insect bite.
