The oil pulling with oregano oil will definitely help. But to get rid of pain and multiple abscesses as quickly as possible try clay. You can find it online or any healthfood store for cheap.

The Yerba Prima liquid clay works great as is, or you can us the Azteca brand found in healthfood stores and just diluted a few tablespoons enough until it's liquidy and swish it around. The drawing out power of the clay is phenomenal for infections, abscesses etc - and is the best for quickly neutralizing the pain.

Best thing is to do both - but definitely don't forget the clay.
