I know this is going to sound "not too bright", but I suggest that you visit you tube and watch a lecture by the name of "Sugar, the Bitter Truth" One of the things that Sugar does is raise your BP, and it causes inflamation. since your glucose was high, I suggest this. After listening to that very informative lecture, I will no longer be eating Sugar or it's pals. Robert H. Lustig is the name of the lecturer.
