Hi Shelia. I really do not know what symptoms are. I cant smell myself and my wife can't either but I go through seeing people develop the sniffles all of a sudden. I dont experience any constipation or anything like that. One day about 3yrs ago this started and Ive been trying to find a solution ever since. I feel relative health! Just cant get rid of this so called odor. The only good thing thats come about from this is that I love using the charcoal soap. LOL
