Both help but Asparatate works all the time while Mag Malate may have other things to work on.
Mag Malate clears blood, is a blood thinner and destroys biofilm. Plus ATP help due to malic acid getting into the muscle tissue. Mag Malate also disolves stones all over the body so it can for instance all be used up to clear tiny stones in the liver and never make it to the CFS/Fibro issue.

The Asparatate forms bypass all that and go to work in key areas. This is most important where Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome is caused by cancers and or T-cell depletion.

Imagine Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome from Herpesvirus 6 with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, this responds instantly to Asparatates and can then be cleaned up with Rife, heck even the CAFL does a good job on low level infections:
