Newport; do you consider Lyme to be the new syphilis? ( or rather that when syphilis was supressed, lyme came up? )

From my homeopathic school I vaguely remember that syphilis had many similar mental symptoms as lyme. It was the deepest/worst patology, we were told.

Funny (not); the first remedy that comes up for is mercury.
