You're right. Your post didn't warrant that comment of mine. That comment sprung out of an observation I've made over many months. I'll be blunt with you: You write too many posts.
What do you average, like 5 a day? You just don't have the knowledge base to be answering that many questions. Neither do I, BTW. There are many times when someone asks a question, and you're the first to reply--WITH ANOTHER QUESTION! Why this compulsion to be involved in every thread? The goal should be substance, and things we know to be true, should it not?
Try to gauge the mindset of the people who post. If someone is desperate and looking for moral support, by all means chime in and console them—-no real information necessary. OTOH, if someone writes a sober, well-composed post asking specific questions, why chime in if you don't have much substance to offer? You are watering down threads and watering down this forum.
Ever notice how people will post a question, and they will add "Please, no theories" or "Please, only respond if you have personal experience with this."? That's b/c they don't want fluffy, BS replies. They're looking for answers to their health questions. Let the first reply be made by someone who can really enlighten them. Who cares if the question hangs in the air for a day or more? Don't just slap something up there like this is a chatroom.
You're like a center fielder who doesn't just catch balls hit to him, but who runs into right field and left trying to field those balls, too. And so the two players collide and the fly ball drops. Why put that pressure on yourself? Why so little faith in other people? And if a ball gets hit into the gap and makes it to the wall, is it the end of the world?
How about this thread entitled "For the Ladies"(!). Who's the first person to reply?? Jameskep. With a question.

You know what leads to people “trying everything," which you dont want to see?? People posting stuff that they can't personally vouche for and have no authentic knowledge of. The more intelligent each thread is, the smarter the people who come in off search engines and join us, which benefits us all. An educational and enlightening old thread is a wonderful thing.
OTOH, know what's not wonderful? Threads like this:
Poster 1: I've got a hangnail. This sucks.
Poster 2: It does suck. I've had one before.
Poster 3: I've heard Turpentine is good for that.
Poster 4: Nah, better off soaking it in royal jelly.
Poster 5: Have you tried drinking Colloidal Silver ?
Poster 1: No, but I think I'll try that, as soon as I'm done reading about the Rothchilds.
What a waste of time, breath, and server space.
Let's look at the 2 questions asked in the OP of this thread: "Just wondering if anybody else has the same acid reflux problem as a result of chronic candida problems?" And:
"[H]as anyone been able to successfully manage the dual problem of candida and acid reflux with natural remedies?"
Do you fit either of these categories? (if so, you didn't say so.) Why chime in with "Chocolate can cause acid reflux as well."?? Then you post a list of things that cause acid reflux. You don't think the OP and I know which things cause acid reflux??? You're just flapping your gums, man. Stop TRYING to be helpful: you either are or you aren't. If you can be, then do it. If you can't, why muddy the thread?
We're all learning about candida, and processing tons of information. It's a great thing to be clear on what we know and what we don't. We should be embracing the truth, though we're gonna make mistakes. It's no big deal, none of us are perfect. I pointed out that HV never said what you attributed to him. Nothing even close. Why won't you admit that you were wrong, like a man?
For the last 14 days, you're averaging over 4 posts a day. Sometimes you get on a roll and write 8 in one day. A better idea would be more thinking, reading, and observing, and less writing.
