The Yahoo Cutler groups recommend this in the beginning. If you do well on round, Cutler says people can do longer rounds. They also don't have to do long breaks btw rounds but there should be a break.
My impression is that the body needs a few days to deal with the effects of redistribution from the last dose of a round.
In the early years Cutler was concerned about a theoretical potential for a buildup of copper while on round with ALA.
