Olive oil is a bad thing to coat your food with? Like popcorn? I guess I need an air popper and season with spices. I thought I was doing good when I switched from the vegetable oil.

ambler, yes there is a lot to learn but fortunately you don't have to learn it all at once.  Use Chrisb1's food combining chart as a guide but don't worry if you can't always follow it.

What about steamed potatos and pinto beans? Still bad? Starch and protein? What would you eat with pinto beans? And what would you eat with steamed potatos?

For simplicity's sake, potatos should only be combined with salad and non-starchy vegetables.  You should also avoid eating tomatoes with starchy vegetables as the acid will interfere with starch digestion. The same is true for beans.  The salad and non-starchy vegetables are easily digested and don't conflict with anything except fruits, as a rule.  On the other hand, proteins (nuts, seeds, dairy products and meats if you use them) combine well with the same salads and non-starchy vegetables as well as the luxury (IMO) of tomatoes.

We have a lot of hunters and fishermen around here. Freshwater bass, crappie, sand bass, catfish. Freezers are full of wild deer and wild hog which are about as organic as you can get.

I suspect they will think you're crazy if you suggest that none of that is fit for human consumption.  A cow would starve before eating another animal.  I'd probably give in and eat meat if no other food was available but I would not be convinced that I was doing myself a favor.

Day 22
Well done on your progress.  Remember - don't worry about any of this.  Take your time and ease back in when you decide to break the fast.
