Yes, I've used niacinamide. It works well. 500 mg multiple times per day. Google also has some info using niacinamide to treat Alzheimer's. Here is some info http://ahha.org/Alzheimers.htm
Klinghardt mentions it being an anti microbial like niacin but without the anti psychotic abilities that niacin has for things like Schizophrenia.

I could post a long-time about lyme/lyme co infections with Alzheimer's but here is one http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1846288#i

I was never diagnosed as all they would have done is diagnose me with one autoimmune ailment after another based on my symptoms anyway. One day would be diagnosed with chronic fatigue and then the next you'll be diagnosed with arthritis and the next MS and so on. They never would have diagnosed me with Alzheimer's because of my age but when I have almost all the symptoms I should have been. They rather would have diagnosed me with dozens of different ailments. Best I can explain someone going through it is miserable. Very very miserable.

Not to mention once one is diagnosed with an ailment, it lowers your immune system. Therefore, I prefer to mention symptoms.

Rife technology is the best test one could do anyway. Will narrow down what one is fighting better than all that time I spent at the doctors trying to diagnose and find out what's wrong.

The last time I went to see a doctor, I finally gave up on them when they kept giving me different steroids and different antibiotics when I was covered in what appeared to be Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever... steroids only made things worse in the long run.

After an extremely long-time focusing on supplements and diet which did give me progress I still had the pathogens in my body doing the damage. It was like rebuilding the terrain faster than the pathogens could destroy it. Focusing on the terrain you can relapse very fast if you stop focusing on the terrain.

Anyhow, I'm a very big believer in lyme induced Autism, lyme induced Alzheimer's, lyme induced MS, lyme induced Parkinson's and many others. It's not just borrelia when I speak of lyme but all the other co-infections that comes with lyme. And with mold exposure also being included.

Interestingly, as things progress, I go throughout the whole ailment list that lyme can give. I assume it's due to all the co infections I had. Most people on the street probably have just a handful of co infections kept relatively in check. Me on the other hand because of how long my immune system was suppressed, with traveling, exposure from others, insect bites, I caught a great many. Probably the more co infections one has, the more complicated the case and the worse the person health is.

In the beginning, I had basically all the symptoms of Alzheimer's. I even used coconut oil, diet and others to help stop the progression and again, while they all worked I needed more help. I could correct all these other ailments that I had but not all. Because my case was so complicated I was able to help everyone else with their issues but mine was harder. The internet with the explosion of information helped immensely as before I had to rely on buying books. Most books talk only about the terrain. Fix the terrain and you fix pathogen issues which I also believed for a long-time. However, as time went on "I" needed more.

That's when I went with Rife in 2010. There is a quote from Jeff Sutherland that I can't find now but something to the effect that when he treated someone who was basically in a coma from Alzheimer's, the patient woke up almost immediately. That was my experience shortly after getting my Rife machine. While not in a coma my brain was very very bad while the rest of my body was healthy. I'm not sure if it was due to the frequency itself such as what PEMF does helping to bring your brain back into entrainment. Or the doctrine or the scriipt I used I don't know.

But again, focusing on the terrain is fine and if one gets results that's also great. But IME if one has already come down with the ailment, then one can't stop at just the terrain. Maybe it's good for prevention but one should never stop at just the terrain.

Here is a good quote

"According to conventional wisdom, our genes and lifestyles are the most important causes of the most deadly ailments of our time. Conventional wisdom may be wrong. In this controversial book, the eminent biologist Paul W. Ewald offers some startling arguments
Germs appear to be at the root of heart disease, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, many forms of cancer, and other chronic diseases.
The greatest threats to our health come not from sensational killers such as Ebola, West Nile virus, and super-virulent strains of influenza, but from agents that are already here causing long-term infections, which eventually lead to debilitation and death.
The medical establishment has largely ignored the evidence that implicates these germs, to the detriment of public health."

But I also don't stop my focus on just terrain, chelation, pathogens, etc. but I also focus on some Eastern Medicine as well which compliments all this and what I'd also recommend. I use Pranic Healing myself.

In short, once one sees the pathogen angle of this and how killing these pathogens responsible and cleaning up the mess after killing them, things such as Alzheimer's becomes less mysterious and much easier to treat IME.

Regarding magnesium, yes, most forms of magnesium just feed these issues so while making things better in the short term, long-term it makes it worse IMO/IME. Newport is right and Klinghardt mentions something similar about magnesium feeding lyme. http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1904262#i
