My guess is that he took to little iodine, didnt take all or enough companions, so worsened a hypo T condition (transient phase seen in many cases and that AF in addition made the body retain water. This could have been avoided with saltloading)
1 month is to short to really know, and he still has A-fib; I bet these have been gone by now on the Iodine protocol.
