I recently purchased this ozonator:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ozonator-Ozone-Generator-MAINLAND-SHIPPING/dp/B0035FV...

I only ran it for 5 mins for a glass of water and the kitchen had a really strong smell of ozone, is there any dangers to breathing this on a regular basis?

These units are actually low output hot corona devices.  They only smell strong because ozone has a very low smell threshold.  You are very unlikely to have any problems with inhaling ozone diffused in to the air from these machines.  The only real risk is if you were a severe asthmatic.  Ozone can trigger off asthma attacks in people with severe asthma.

Also my medium sized dog came into the kitchen and immediately started to sneeze which he never does normally is there any risks for my dog?

A dog's nose is much more sensitive than a human's so it will irritate his nose more but the levels of ozone would not be harmful otherwise.  To diffuse the ozone more though you can keep a window open or use a fan to disperse the ozone better.  Aiming the fan upward is best since this will push the ozone up, which then slowly sinks back down breaking down in the process.

And how much ozonated water should I drink each day?

You can drink as much as you would normally drink water.  The ozone does not build up in the tissues.

I also have reduced kidney function is there any risks to my kidneys?

The only risk would be with much higher levels of ozone or if you had a malignant tumor since both would increase uric acid levels that could harm the kidneys.
