my heart goes out to you, my friend. its amazing how much abuse a fully hydrated body can take and the doctors know it. they count on it. thats why a saline IV is SOP in every case.

let me take this opportunity to teach a little something. i hope i never have to go under the knife in an emergency. i would review all the anesthetics if i could plan ahead. as iodinated as i am, their stuff would not work. they might kill me trying to keep me out with a fluoridated drug. it takes three shots of novocaine to numb my tooth enough to pull it. then, if i am getting enough vitamin C, that neutralizes those alkaloids and its even worse. the lesson here is that doctors do not know how to deal with someone who is iodinated. it makes the body much less susceptable to their chemical manipulations. be aware.
