Magnesum chloride oil contains 0.4% bromine, the poison we are trying to flush out with iodine.
This from an assay of Zechstein MgCl, the mine in the Netherlands.

When I asked various sellers of MgCl for an assay report, none of them gave me one. The only place that came clean was magnascent.ca.

Caveat emptor.
