boy, that stinging the eyes part reminds me of my first couple of years taking iodine. that first summer my eyes stung something terrible from the sweat running down in them. i was horribly toxic. the next summer - way less stinging. the next summer - no sting. now i dont even get the bromide zits unless i go a few days without iodine. i dont let that happen any more, either. bromine is everywhere. no person left behind, i guess.
