I have a cousin who is 20 years old. She has had asthma since she was a child and have been using inhalers and medications ever since. She also has had pneumonia a few times, and has just recovered from the last bout with it. Her immune system is not the best. And she has had anemia type problems a few times as well.

Do you think she would benefit from Iodine supplementation? If so, are there any risks? I was thinking about asking her to take one 12.5mg Iodoral tablet per day and see what happens. Right now, I can't ask her to do the companion supplementation and salt loading etc. So I'm asking if just some plain Iodine is likely to help.
