Hello,
I can't say I have studied or looked into healing nerve damage to any degree. However, if it can be healed, I imagine giving your body the things it needs to accomplish the task would be a wise move. Coffee enemas are an interesting task. The more I do them, the better I seem to feel. I've read similar things to what you have, something about caffiene not effecting or being absorbed in the same way. Obviously, you will absorb caffiene if you put it into your body, but how that happens and what it does is really reliant upon how you put it into you. I imagine that the best advice anyone can give you is to try a mild version and work your way up from there.
Here is what I suggest you do. Based on my studies of coffee, the darker the coffee or the darker the roast, the less caffiene the coffee contains. The recipes vary for a coffee enema, but the recipe I follow from the gerson therapy is 3 rounded table spoons per enema. So start with a very low amount of coffee. Whatever you feel safe or comfortable with. You can try half of a tablespoon or even less and so on. If this has no negative effective, move forward with a larger dose until you either find yourself with the feared neuro effect (I am unsure what this actually is) or until you are at 3 rounded tablespoons (full recommended amount). I wouldn't do more than one a day for now, and I suggest maybe doing the same test twice to be sure if there is any kind of real or dangerous risk involved. The amount of coffee I've injested via enemas each day is pretty substantial, but I don't feel like whatever I'd imagine coffee to feel like when drinking it.
Be sure to write down your results immediately after doing the enema for comparison.
If nothing else, the gerson therapy will simply be good for you. If you haven't read the book, I recommend doing so (at least I recommend some parts of the book, hah!).
They also recommend castor oil enemas, castor packs and clay packs, things of that nature are also detoxifiers. If you aren't struggling with cancer, intense detoxification may not be as essential. This is merely my speculation and thoughts off the top of my head, keep this in mind, food for thought.
