I don't notice any kind of yeast reaction when I use salt, so I don't believe it's helping the yeast grow (in my case, at least).

I did have trouble with thyroid symptoms which were alleviated by taking a little iodized salt every day. I'm not sure if that raised my blood pressure or not. The doctor didn't mention anything when he took my pressure a week ago.
