Ok, I will call you Ed online since you gave me permission, but don't you even think about calling me by my real name. :) I'm not brave enough to post my picture and name like you are. lol. I think it would really affect how I post, not knowing who I know is reading it. ;) I do prefer to remain anonymous. :) That way I can let it all hang out! ;)


I loved your post. Thank you for your stamp of approval on how I handled my fast. Yes, I did what I felt I had to do. My commitment is actually for forty days. I plan to Water Fast as much of those days as physically possible. The rest of the time I plan juice or maybe I will try a little honey etc. - things that are non solid and healthy. My resolve to stick to this for forty days has remained strong from the beginning. I have never even considered steak or any other solid food. I was tempted to get a Pepsi today at work telling myself it was liquid, but I knew that I am trying to break that type of bondage and so it would not please the Lord for this fast unto Him. Thank God with His help the temptation passed. Somehow I knew that would have really been a cheat.

I loved what you said about the Gospel. That is so true. Calling it good news is probably the greatest understatement the world has ever known.
