Thank-you! As I was sitting realizing that I would have to come up with the money to have the one filling replaced, I realized I had crowns with metal backs on them. I can't tell you what a disheartening feeling I felt. I could never afford to fix four crowns. I originally thought I had candida, which I probably do but I am now beginning to see that the mercury is most likely the primary problem. I am so sick of living in a forgetful fog day in and day out. I am tired of being tired. I never feel depressed just spaced out. It has stopped my from making plans because I don't know how out of it I'll feel in advance. I function but at a slow rate. I am careful not to rush for fear that in my fog I'll overlook something important. I even worry about getting an easy job and forgetting what I am suppose to do by the next day. I am married with 2 teenage children(one of which has silver fillings). Seems I have to work twice as hard to catch up because of things I "forgot". I wish I could just wake up with a clear mind. It has been years since I did. I also forgot to mention that I used to have several more Amalgam fillings but have now lost those teeth(all in the back thank god),and you are right that I don't have any fillings under those crowns. I got the crowns do to grinding my teeth and wearing down the backs of them until they became sensitive to cold things. I will check with the dentist to be sure as you suggested but thank you for easing my mind a bit for now.
