The symptoms you describe are some of the often described symptoms of heavy metal toxicity (mercury, lead, and others). Have you done any research in that direction? If you haven't, I suggest you give it a try and see if it makes sense in your case.

This is especially important if you've had obvious exposure (silver fillings, for example), but there are a lot of hidden sources of these metals as well (lead paint, tainted drinking water, etc.).
