you can either have a blood test or take 50 mgs of niacin, if you flush you are high histamine/biounavailable copper, if it takes more than 150mgs to flush you are low histamine/histapenic and most likely have high serum copper. this test seems to work like a charm from my experience and everything i've read. for example my BF is very low histamine, we tested his urine, blood and did the niacin test. it took 300mgs to make him flush and he's made a remarkable turnaround on his Depression in less than 2 weeks using supplements to raise histamines.
