I have a friend who was a electronics engineer and who built a multimeter as a Science project, and he explained to me that a multimeter has a resistance only when it measures a voltage, but not when it measures an intensity.
Who should i believe now ?
The explanation of my friend makes more sense than yours. What is the benefit of having a high resistance on a ampermeter ? I don't understand...
