Welcome to the club. I think we're the relative few who are taking Iodine along with the supplements in the Cutler protocol. I also started chelation in Nov 2011 with DMSA. I'm currently at the end of my first round of DMSA with ALA.

I don't think there are any studies on the relationship between mercury and iodine. I really wish I could pick Brownstein's mind on this, but I suspect it still doesn't go beyond "increased excretion."

Based on my experience, anything relevant to me in Amalgam Illness has been correct. In the book, Cutler states that chelation is the only way to remove the mercury from our brains. I believe in this statement and that we're finally on the way to better health.
