Victor, I'm sorry I missed your reply. Thanks.
Re adrenals. Yes, that is also what we see. Start working on the adrenals, thyroid and gut before chelation starts but don't expect to resolve the problem without much chelation.
Re other resources. Yes Cutler's Amalgam Illness is a great reference; however, for the details of the protocol I relied on the Cutler support group at Yahoo--Frequent Dose Chelation. Cutler stops by fairly often and he will usually respond to direct emails from their moderators when there are questions about unusual situations.
The folks who post the hair tests for the members of the yahoo groups is a good resource as well as the archives for those groups.

Re professional support. Yes, my doctor is overseeing my progress, but I typed up a proposed chelation plan based on Cutler and presented it to him. After 1.5 yrs of chelation he recently said that I'm like night and day from when he first started to treat me about 4 yrs ago. My strangely low bone density has improved 8% since I started chelating! Looks like I wont have to live in a wheel chair.
Yes, lots of people are getting major gains but it is a slow process. The FDC group has a folder containing links to Chelation Progress Reports. There are also some on the net.
This person was nearly bed ridden. She has taken a long time to recover but is nearly 100% okay now.

This guy used Cutler as a part of his fight against stage 4 cancer.

Most of the autistic kids get significant gains as well as seen in this little study.
