Sugars,even healthy sugars such as fruit can promopte candida and other fungi and viruses.

I also wonder if simple carbs like white bread provide enopugh sugar to cause harm.

Candida and viruses can cause cancer so indirectly sugars can lead to cancer....Am I right about this?

Viruses are the most common cause of cancer.  I have not seen any evidence though that Candida causes cancer, and I doubt it would since everyone harbors the Candida organism.  Sugars do suppress the immune system though by interfering with white blood cell activity.  This can give pathogens such as a viruses a better hold.

I am unable to eat sugar,nuts like cashews,fruit,or anything that conatins greater amounts of sugars because it causes candida overgrowth and GERD....even though my prebiotics are excellent.
