Hi all,

I've recently moved house so signed up with a different doctor.

I described the symptoms and she asked if I used mouthwash. I said yes, and she stated it sounds like contact dermatitis.

She said stop using mouthwash and the problem should go away after 4 or 5 months.

Not convinced, I asked about toothpaste too and she said I could brush my teeth with salt instead.

I'm going to stop using mouthwash and find an all natural toothpaste and see how this goes.

I'm also going to go the gym every day and use the steam room to really moist my lips and make them peel if ready.

Anybody got any experience if long term mouthwash/chemical avoidance?
