With you on that one brother. Have the same dilemma. Although viewing oneself as damaged goods is in part the issue I think. It's been helpful not to think that I need to be good enough for her, but instead evaluate whether she will compliment my life.

I can't imagine I'll be doing much travelling, drinking, eating out at restaurants, staying the night (insomnia habits) etc. If those are all deal breakers then it won't be worth pursuing.
